I replaced the lock flex cable on my iphone 5s. When I was done I had to hard reset the phone in order for it to boot, it wouldn't boot without it.

Now I found out that the battery will not charge, or when I connect it to my pc it won't show up on itunes and my pc doesn't even find it.

I have already replaced the dock connector and the headphone jack and home button still work.

Hope someone can help.

It sounds like it may be a bad U2 Charging IC.

I also have that thought but it can't be broken because I replaced the lock flex. It worked fine before I replaced it.

If iTunes won't detect it , then it points more to the dock connector. Did you inspect the dock connector on the PCB for damaged pins?
