I have a nano 4th gen with no backlight. so far, I've tried resetting and restoring the ipod. No luck with that I tried replacing the lcd. r+r went well but still no backlight.
Is there anything else I can do or tear it down for parts for other ipods?

Possible corrosion at LCD ribbon to main board connector.
