Is it worth fixing?

hello,

i have a PSP that scratches games and it has a scrtched faceplate(mix of medium to light)

It did a number on one of my games and will not read correctly(VERY slow, sometimes it wont go unless i take it out and reinstall it)

is it worth fixing or should i sell it for parts on ebay?

you could homebrew it, and not worry about the UMD drive.

Gekozen oplossing

You could homebrew it, if you buy a Pandora battery, and a spare memory stick (512MB+ so you can make a magic memory stick with Rain'sUltraLite) you can downgrade to v5.03, flash a custom firmware, and run emulators, and games without a disk, taken that you have a large enough memory stick. You could have a hacked PSP for about $15 worth of stuff, since the PSP1000 is completelly hackable
