Phone wont turn on

Hi,

i recently replaced the LCD on my desire. before I did i let the battery completely drain. After reassembly the orange light blinks and a picture with a battery with a lightning bolt flashes on and off. A couple of times the white HTC power on screen came on but turned back off after about 2 to 3 seconds. Any ideas?

I've tried unhooking the battery and re hooking it

I've tried hold vol- and power

I've tried vol + and power

and ofc power
