Hello!
Is it possible to install a 2 ghz Core 2 Duo logic board into a macbook 13" A1181 which had formerly installed a 2.16 ghz core 2 duo logicboard and which has three wall connectors. In summary: are all core 2 duo logic boards from 2007 compatible with the others?

hi matthias,
normally - yes - but some boards are slightly different.
3 wifi conectors are from the wifi draft N card.
if the connectors are the same on the board - you can use it wouthout changing more parts.
there where 4 major board designs for the macbook A1181
The NON Energy Star:
The Energy Star:
The Santa Rosa:
The Penryn:
they are all alike, but some, like the energy star, santa rosa and penryn - have different battery connectors than the non energy star - the santa rosa and the penryn had different connectors on the board (speakers,fans bluetooth and so on).
the easiest way to tell what board you have is to look at it and compare it with the pictures above -
