1/4 screen is white, home button side is.

I just replaced my GT-N5110 digitalizer screen. After replacing the screen the unit turns on fine but then 1/3 of the screen where the home button is goes white. The unit is 100% charge. Prior to replacing the digitalizer screen the unit was working fine, we just replaced its cracked screen. Can you tell me why the unit goes white only 1/3 of it where the home button is.
