HTC One M8 Camera

I have had my HTC phone for about a 1 1/2 years. The glass cover on the forward facing camera broke about 8 months in. Because of the crack it was effecting quality of pics. I pulled away the broken glass and should have had the glass replaced but never did. no 8 months letter my pics are extremely fuzzy. I have tried to clean the camera lense but the camera lense is so small that I can not reach with a qtip to clean it. I am debating on getting a new phone. Is this something that is worth fixing or should I just go ahead and get a new phone.

have you ever though of replacing a new front camera? this video is about how to teardown htc m8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_xaYOco..., after teardown the rear housing then you can remove the front facing camera easily.
