Flickering screen issue after trying an incomplete OS update

hi guys,worried a bit at the moment as my G2 start a flickering screen issue.The new version update (OS Lollipop) through LG PC Suite failed on first attempt creating the problem.Now its misbehaving every time .After downloading updates more than 1.4GB an error occurred showing unable to update.Now my phone is in factory reset mode everything erased,What shall i do is it a software or hardware issue??????Shall i throw it as scrap........??????????
