Phone freezes then rebooting when playing video

my studio 5.5 freezes then goes to green screen then reboots after about 15 seconds of playing a video. I have had the phone for 2 months and this problem started 3 days ago. I have done both soft and hard resets and also installed a different video player however the same results occur when attempting to play a video.
