What did I do wrong

I just replaced the LCD screen on my Samsung Note 2 and everything is working fine that is everything but it won't read my SIM card anymore.This is my first repair and I've tried everything that I know to do. My SIM card works fine in when I put it in another phone. The only thing that knew to try was tiring the phone down mutable times to make sure everything is plugged in but each time the same result.I used a Verizon LCD screen and my carrier is Boost moble just grasping for any answer but could that be the problem? Any help is welcomed I'm just an old guy that is trying to save a little money.
