problems redeeming OSX Lion

I have a Mac Mini Core 2 Duo running Snow Leopard. I purchased OSX Lion from the Apple Store and they emailed me codes and password, the issue is that when I go to redeem the software I get an error message saying; " the item is being modified please try again later"

I have trie for three days and no change, I guess I will have to contact Apple.

Anyone else had this issue, and remedies?
