My acer iconia 7 B1-730 would not charge and turn on at all after randomly shutting down when its battery was at around 50%. Don't know why either the charger or the device itself, but still it won't turn on, is there anyway of fixing this?

You can go through the easy steps first, try a different cord, try a different brick. Most likely though your issue lies with the battery or the board. You can order a battery online if you are confident enough to change it out yourself, but if it's a board issue you'd be better off getting a new tablet rather than spending the money to fix that one.
