I dropped my Alcatel one touch 7024w and now it won't turn on. But when I plug the phone into the charger the charging comes on in the corner. But I try to turn it on and Nothing. What could be the problem and some ways to check possibilities. Please help.

Does it make any noise, ring, vibrate, etc. when you press buttons? If so it's likely the screen. It might just be disconnected, or it might be damaged and need to be replaced.

how would i check to see if the screen is disconnected?
It doesn't but it shows the following text on the screen: select boot mode- volume up to be selected, volume down is ok
recovery mode...
Sounds like the bios of the phone, you should be able to use your volume buttons to go up and down through that menu select power on or safety mode. Use the lock button to select it

kadendeleonidas your problem is the volume button is stuck that screen is the bootloader screen usually accessed by pressing power and volume down at the same time

i dropped my alcatel one touch fierce 2 the other day and it was fully charged and so i tried to turn it on and also tried to charge it and it goes to a screen where it is turning on but never goes past the first screen. help

Have you confirmed that the power-on button isn't broken and that is why you cannot turn on the phone?
It wouldn't be surprising if the impact of your drop has fractured the module that clicks the 'on button' on the motherboard.

open the phone u have to check the switch the place where the phone will on and u check the leg of the switch and u put your battery in the phone and u use picker to press the leg of the phone and it on OR put your mouth on the leg and the phone on

Exact same problem. I've had it for 3 years now and dropped it a couple of times (like 15 times a month) on accident but it just stopped working.

i have the same problem and when i try to press the turn on button it shows a text on the screen talking about volume up and down. It just stopped on its own.

Plug In And Plug Off Several Times While Holding Power Button Without Release. When Phone Shows White Charging Status It doesn't mean it's charging Ones You'll See Battery Image on screen you're Done.
