phone is coming on and staying on "BLU" ,how to fix it?
my phone is coming on and the screen is staying on the word "BLU" and not coming on fully

i'm having the same problem.. but when factory reset and restart it.. the problem do not change :-(

i tried that method but it still didnt work..what other options do i have or what do you recommend?
Did u wipe the catch partition in the recovery? If not then try that. And if still that didnt help out. Then u may need to flash the phone. Look in here for answers on how to http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/...

you have to boot into recovery and wipe data or factory reset..
remove the battery and wait for some seconds then insert the battery again
hold volume down and power button together until u see a recovery menu, then choose wipe data/factory reset us volume down/up to navigate .. then restart when done..
WARNING!personal data Like SMS/MMS/Contacts/Apps/call history .... will be gone for good if you need those then consider taking the phone a pro for backup..
Media such us pictures/videos/musics will not be affected

Have your tried booting in safe mode? A safe mode can help you to diagnise and uninstall the culprit app causing your mobile to stuck on boot screen. Safe mode can also help you to detect if there is any hardware or software issue on the mobile.
- Power off your mobile
- Hold the Volume Up+Power key together
- Release the power buttom once you see the logo on the screen.(keep the volume key holding)
This will boot your Mobile in safe mode. Unistall any recent install app which you think migh cause the error.

I had the Blu 4.0 star, and the brand itself is pretty bad :/ its a cheap brand, and I had that problem, and exchanged it, and the problem came up again :/ factory reset worked for a while, but it is a problem that will happened again and again. I would suggest a new phone.
