Tablet fails to boot past the first boot screen.

Hi,

My tablet recently suffered water damage.

I did not try to turn it on but instead, I removed the back cover, disconnected the battery from the motherboard and wipred of as much of the water as I could even inside the usb and audio ports.

I left the tablet to dry for about 72 hours before reassembling.

When I reconnected the battery, the samsung Galaxy Tab boot scene appears then "resets" a second time before going dead.

I've tried holding all combinations on buttons but nothing works.

Disconnecting the battery and reconnected, same results.

There is also no battery charging icon when I try to charge the battery.

Do I need to change the motherboard or battery? Or are there other components that are damaged that prevents the tablet from working?
