After I'm done using my Razor A2 scooter, I always try to fold it and stow it away in my garage. However, no matter how hard I try, I just can't get the darn thing to fold! Any suggestions?

I suffered with this problem for so long, but I found out the answer. So what you got to do is lift it up with one hand on the T bar, then you want to push down the lever facing to the brake of the scooter, then you will feel it click and then just push it together, your done!!!

I’ve suffered many, many years of my daughter’s scooter swinging around and knocking my shins. I just accepted that it would never fold up. Today I thought I would have a final attempt to perhaps dismantle it and see what the issue was. I came across your comment and tried it, without much hope. Instantly worked. THANK YOU! I’m overjoyed!

Any other option tried lifting and and pressing up nothing I sold a 300 dollar scooter brokek never bye on eBay from MEGAWHEELS_uk if you do u will have the problem I’m having now almost got hit by 2 cars cause it shuts off I was within the 30 days they won’t refund me now I’m fighting my woth enay for a refund and

First, make sure you turn the Joint release latch located right behind the front wheel of the scooter.
As you turn the latch, fold your scooter and it should fold easily.
If it doesn't fold, be sure that the scooter's handlebars aren't blocking the scooter from folding fully and the alignment wheels at the bottom of the handlebars are in-line with the folding mechanism.
If your scooter is still not folding, it may be due to debris stuck at the quick release latch. To find out how to disassemble your scooter and remove the debris, visit the Quick Release Latch Guide on the Razor A2 Device Page.

I had an original razor scooter boxed on a shelf for years. Still looked and rode new when I took it out. Left it out to dry. TWO days later it has rust and won't close. ðŸ˜
There's a plastic cover near the front wheel that hides the slide path of the locking bar. When you remove the cover you can see where it's supposed to slide. You have to depress the lever and help it slide along the path to get it to close. Such a pain! Was considering getting a current scooter but no longer!

I just bought a 9 year old Razor scooter at a thrift store for my grandson and it has the same problem with folding. The latch behind the wheel moves BOTH directions. The key is that the latch easily moves one direction but requires the movement of the bar to move the opposite direction. If you wiggle the handlebars forward and backward while working the latch lever you will find that it eventually clicks and releases. When you figure this out you can use the orientation of the scooter to assist you to fold it up quickly.

Try to see if there is a screw in front where it fold loosen it if it folds look inside the bottom of the folding area and adjust screw under there

so annoying!! i can't get mine to fold, either.

My Kick Scooter is locked closed and I can’t seem to get it unstuck. I have tried many variations of holding the T-bar and turning the release latch but I can’t seem to get it unstuck. There does not appear to be any debris of any kind hindering the leaver from moving or anything inside where spring is. I am clueless and would appreciate some help.

1# Pull The Little Latch Down (located By The Bottom)
#2 Slowly Pull The Top To The Bottom If You Can
