My iPad 2 turns off when I unplug it.

My iPad 2 second gen will not stay on very long at all, but the battery shows 100 % charged, and when I unplug it it totally turns off, please help?

This is a new, well, manufacture refurbished, battery I got from eBay. I thought this would fix the problem.

Did replacing the battery work? i have the same problem
