How can I fix my MacBook DVD player. It seems to be jammed.

You can't there are no DIY fixes for optical disk devices you can, however, replace it. Once you get the device out of the machine you can disassemble it enough to remove a disk.

machead - it depends on what is jammed here (disc Vd mech)

Can you give us the last four digits of your serial number so we can correctly identify your system. FYI - The 15" MBP Retina model doesn't have a optical drive.
