My daughter disabled my iPod by trying to figure out my pass word and had 10 failed attempts. The message iPod is disabled try again in 21,179,270 minutes. How to I re-activate it? Thank you!

You are going to have to wipe the iPod in Recovery Mode to fix the problem. I am not aware of a way to remove the password without wiping the iPod.
To do this, follow this guide on how to put the iPod in Recovery Mode and restore it.
