Video support for Xbox One...?

Exactly "what" does this Xbox One have internally for the video support? And,will it--support 1080P on it's games?

The Xbox One has a built in Blu-Ray/DVD player for movies and streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu Plus, etc. I think that they have their own digital video store as well. If you mean transferring movies from computer to console by means of USB, Microsoft says that USB transfer is not available at this time during and after launch but will be soon. They may have been talking about USB streaming for music but I can't be certain. It will support 1080p games but that depends on the developer and the type of television that you have. FYI, you should know that Call of Duty: Ghosts only shows 720p resolution. For what reason, I don't know because PS4 supports 1080p.

This not what I asked. I asked what was there "internally" within the Xbox One, that handles the video support within this unit.

Didn't understand the question. If you are talking about the graphics/video chip, the AMD 8 core APU processor inside handles both processing and graphics/video. It has support for 1080p games and video and photo file resolutions up to 1080p and 4K. Hopes this answers your question, if not, please rephrase the question.

Then, why did the company that made the game(console version)Call Of Duty:Ghosts(Infinity Ward) "state" that the Xbox One could NOT support that game at 1080P @ 60 FPS;and,it(Xbox One) would have to drop the resolution down to 720 to be able to maintain the 60FPS??? But,Infinity Ward also stated that the PS4...could support 1080P @ 60 FPS,in playing that same game "Call Of Duty:Ghosts"? There in...is the "real" question.

That's a good question. But like I said it depends on the developer. They have put too many features in the next next versions of the game to include 1080p support or maybe their just BSing because ps4 and xb1 run similar hardware but that also doesn't mean that they are exactly alike. The new need for speed supports 1080p for xb1 so there is some potential for an update from Infinity Ward but don't hold your breath. You should take into account that Microsoft may not allow support for 1080p right now but may come later like a lot missing features people didn't get on day one.

Thank-you...Faison,

For your reply. I had even per-ordered it..way back. But,at the very beginning of November(2013),after talking with Microsoft's tech support for it,and this tech fella not knowing what to say, when I asked him "directly" this very same question. That very much "pushed" me to deciding to cancel my pre-order. And saved me $500.00(+),and around $50.00 more(tax..I guess). After what all I've read, from so many that "bought" into it,and all their problems...I'm glad I did(cancel). Thanks...again.
