Black screen after replacing powerbutton

After repairing the iPhone all I get is a black screen. The phone is still working, the blacklight lits on but no image.

All I did was replacing the powerbutton and the powerbutton flex cable. I didnt touch the display at all.

I tried everything from reset to cleaning the contacts.

Nothing worked.

Do you think the LCD or cable/connector is broken?

If so, what could be the cause since i didn't touch display?

you have to take the display of the frame when replacing the power button. otherwise you have to bend the flex cables to much to take the screws out. as a result the cables break...
