Titel:

iPod works fine, syncs fine, white screen(backlight) only?

Tekst:

I have an iPod classic 120g that was dropped. I have synced it, and it syncs fine. When I plug in my headphones, I can '''hear''' the click wheel scrolling through the list of options. I can select the first one(music) and play through the list alphabetically. Visually, the corner it was dropped on has a small nick but hardly noticeable; the screen looks good and not even scratched. When the iPod is on, I see the white backlighting when I press the menu button and move the scroll wheel, but no image. Is it possible that the connecter for the screen has jarred loose? Is it possible that the screen is fine, but just needs re-attached. I don't want to buy a screen if its just the connector. Haven't popped the case open yet.
