@oldturkey03 your quest has two "Cats". One right off the manifold and one right after that one. Both are bolted. There is no welding involved since everything bolts together. NOw, depending on where you live, you may just need plenty of WD-40 and plenty of elbow grease (or a breaker bar for your sockets) to get the bolts out from the flanges. All you need are the gaskets between the flanges. The flanges will have to mate up. Here is what this all looks like on your Quest

Those can get pretty rusted and can be a PITA to remove. All you need are the gaskets between the flanges. The flanges will have to mate up. Here is what this all looks like on your Quest

The second one is bolted to the front exhaust tube assembly and the muffler assembly. To replace that with anything other than one made for your Quests, you would need to measure the length of it (the Cat) as well as the pipe diameter and the flanges.
