@twiggy7 sometimes it is just a matter of using a different screwdriver. Something with some sharp hardened edges is usually best. Apply plenty of downward pressure when trying to loosen the screw otherwise it'll chew up the screwhead. If that already happened it is best to use a small drill or Dremel to remove the screwhead. Once disassembled you will need to use a pair of pliers to remove the rest of that screw. Again, it will all depend on where the screw sits and what it all looks like.
