Hey guys, I have a pretty old notebook PC that’s got horizontal lines across almost the entire screen. It’s barely possible to make out whats on the display, but some part of it is working. I read somewhere that it’s an easy fix, i just need a new LVDS cable.
See here:

Close-up of the dividing part on top of the screen, in case you didn’t see anything

So, do I salvage and replace the LVDS cable or the screen?
