Astor Moreau sounds like a faulty power adapter. Not much you can do about that unless you rip it apart and check for shortened components.Toshiba is right up there with all the other compaies that treat their schematics like gold. There is no way to get one. My suggestion would be to purchase a replacement, should cost you around $15USD
