iPhone 7: iPhone 7 not charging and Bootloop when DFU

I have an iPhone 7 and I am trying to fix it. The iPhone got stuck on a boot loop with the white screen and Apple logo until the battery died. When I tried to charge the phone, the phone did not respond to charging, and I could not do anything to fix it.

Then I bought a new battery, thinking that maybe it could be a battery problem. I have replaced the new battery and the iPhone turn on again but with the same problem, the boot loop.

I tried to connect the iPhone to my Mac and recognizes it. But still not recognized when charging. Now I'm with the iPhone opened, connecting and disconnecting the battery flex connector, in order to not waste the battery, and trying to restore the software with iTunes holding volume down and power button, showing the black screen with a lighting charger and iTunes logo.

The process starts, but when the iPhone is automatically restarted during the process it show the logo, and then the loading bar under the logo 0,5 seconds and the iPhone restarts on showing the black screen with a lighting charger and iTunes logo again. The process fail with error 4013.

I have tried the process with iTunes and Dr.fone and I have the same problem. Any idea? I need to repair it without pay 370$ if possible...

Thank you!

iPhone 7: Home Button Part Working after Screen Replacement

Hey All!

I hope someone can help me. I've been fixing iphones for years with no real issues for friends and family that is until now!

Ive just replaced an Iphone 7 LCD for the 1st time and I was incredibly careful transferring everything to the new display.

All looks great but the Home Button is behaving very oddly! There is no error so the phone is accepting it but for some reason it will only do half of what it should.

It won't wake the phone but it will accept a finger unlock if you switch the device on with the power button.

It won't return to home screen with a single press but it does accept double Taps to lower the screen down.

Its kind of like its not understanding the haptic feedback correctly even though it does appear to part function and the phone is accepting it.

Has anyone else faced this issue and does anyone know of a solutions. The replacement screen was one purchased by my friend from Ebay. (Its not OEM but appears to be very good quality.

Thanks in Advance

iPhone 7: Why does my replacement camera shake back and forth with phone still?

After dropping my iPhone 7 and cracking the outside camera class I replaced it and then noticed it wasn't focusing from a distance, so I ordered a new camera from ifixit and replaced it and now it doesn't focus up close, and the camera shakes back and forth with the phone completely still, could this have snuck by the QC side? The camera works and operates fine so i could see why it was pass but when it comes to focusing it fails horrible compared to the stock camera, I chose ifixit for the quality parts they have instead of a $20 knock off camera online, would appreciate some feedback!

iPhone 7: Camera flex problem? Home button problem? Both? FCAM fpc problem?

Hi all, I hope you can help me with this one as I am out of ideas:

iPhone 7 screen replaced. Back plate, home button and front camera flex transfered (as I have done in the past already multiple times with success). When powering up I end up in a reboot loop.

Disconnecting front camera flex lets the device continue to its iOS without problems. Tried a new front camera flex without success. Tried another screen without success apart from one time when a new screen (with already attached back plate in-the-box) allowed a SINGLE normal bootup. Second restart gave bootloop again however (lucky stroke or Apple restrictions caught off guard?).

Also interesting: when I plug in the flex when in iOS it disables the previously working home button but doesn't provoke a crash/reboot.

Very curious all this but the fact that flex worked once or hinders home button working let's me suspect software, rather than a damaged flex or fpc connector :/

Oh yeah and a return to the original parts doesn't help either...

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

@jessabethany: I'd sure love to hear your thoughts on this one :)

iPhone 7 came in. They said it wouldn't come on, and has been off for weeks. I installed a new display, and decided to test a known good battery, instead of waiting for the old one to accept a charge. It does not come on, and the board is extremely hot. I unplugged and left on the charger for 20 mins. Doesn't come on, but doesn't get hot either. I'm concerned about leaving it unattended on the charger. Also I tested the display and battery on a different phone. All seems good. Her old display comes on, LCD is trashed. There are some holes in the glass, but top left, not too right, where the board is and no signs of water damage

I have some issues with an iphone 7 screen replacement. Replaced the customers screen and looks like the homebutton isn't working anymore, but the touch ID reader still does. Some say entering DFU mode and installing the software again should solve the "half" working home button issue, but in my case it didn't....

Wat i did so far is handled the screen repair with the most precision, after the repair checkt all the cable's and connection's and everything looks fine at first site. I entered DFU mode and reinstalled the iphone but i still don't have a result...
