Hoe wij apparaten beoordelen:

Een apparaat met een perfecte score is relatief goedkoop te repareren, omdat het gemakkelijk te demonteren is en er een handleiding voor beschikbaar is. De score is afhankelijk van hoe moeilijk het is het apparaat te openen, hoe alles aan elkaar bevestigd is en hoe ingewikkeld het is belangrijke onderdelen te vervangen. Punten worden toegekend voor mogelijkheid tot upgraden, het gebruik van niet-merkgebonden gereedschappen voor onderhoud en modulaire opbouw van componenten.
