Can’t Charge the Battery
Check to see if the AC adapter is connected properly. If it is, try disconnecting the AC adapter and then reconnecting it. If the AC adapter is connected properly and the device still refuses to charge then the AC adapter may need to be replaced, and the adapter for this device is a common one that can be acquired at most stores.
Network Cannot be Accessed via Wireless Connection
The speaker is not reading a wireless connection.
Obscured Wireless LAN Environment
The phone and the speaker (wireless LAN etc.) are too far apart or separated by an obstacle. Improve connection by moving the units closer together or removing any physical obstacles.
LAN Cable Detected
The speaker may detect the presence or absence of a wireless connection depending on the presence or absence of an LAN cable when the speaker’s power is turned on. To use a wireless connection, disconnect the LAN cable and turn the unit OFF and ON again.
Electromagnetic Wave Disruption
If there is a microwave or other device emitting electromagnetic wave near the speaker, move the unit away from the electromagnetic source. Moving the device away from these sources of EM waves will solve many problems of static and not picking up wireless devices.
Unable to Play Audio Files When Connected Over a Network
When connected to a device over a network, the speaker is unable to broadcast the audio from the device.
Windows Media Player is Not Installed on the Computer
Install Windows Media Player on your device. Once you have installed Windows Media Player, Set the server to the media sharing and device selection options. This should let you play media from your computer.
The Device is Not Connected to the Network
Make sure the device on the network has proper settings to connect to the desired network and the Device has proper sharing settings. Go to your network setting for your device and make sure it is able to be connected to your Pioneer speaker, and connect it to the speaker.
The LAN Cable is Not Properly Connected
Make sure that your LAN cable is properly connected between the two devices. You will hear a clear click when the cable has been properly insterted into the LAN port. If your LAN cable does not make this click or is still not connecting then you will need to replace your LAN cable or LAN port. A guide to replace the LAN port can be found here:(Link to our LAN port replacement guide)
Playing Time is Very Short
The speaker stops playback early.
The Temperature is too Low
In a cold environment the speaker battery will drain faster than usual, and could create the device cutting off playback sooner than desired, or skipping during songs. To solve this move the device to a more neutral temperature, but not too warm.
The Remote Control is Not Working
The device isn’t responding to remote control inputs.
User is Outside the Range of Use
Operate remote control within 7 m. (23 ft.) of the speaker’s front panel sensor. Try moving closer to the device and pointing the remote at the sensors on the front of the speaker unit.
Remote Has Been Exposed to Direct Sunlight or a Strong Artificial Bulb
Remove from source of direct light and heat to ensure the remote signals are properly received. Once the remote has cooled down properly it should be working as usual. Try to avoid storing it in a place that gets hot regularly.
The Remote Control Batteries are Dead
Turn over the remote control and pull out the battery holder by pushing the tab to the right. Remove the old battery and place the new battery in the casing, making sure that the “+” side is facing up. Insert the battery holder back into the remote.
