After sitting plugged in for a day, it’s now working fine! It seems like if you’ve replaced a totally dead battery, the machine might need a long time charging to recalibrate the new one, even if you’ve reset the SMC.
The description up top alludes to having to remove the logic board + fans to replace the speakers, but that doesn't seem to be the case in the step by step. Can anyone who's completed this speaker replacement clear that up?
