Sometimes a sharp screwdriver or a sharp blade can help. A cheap screwdriver can be easily sharpened and made smaller when needed so it might just help to do the trick in turning the screw. Or take a cheap (small) drill 1mm or so, break the top of with pliers so you get a sharp tip and try using this to get a grip on the screw. Make sure the drill turns very slow and the right way around. Lefty loose, righty tighty

Meer informatieHi As a repair guy (for over 8 years) I can set your mind at ease. I have done countless iPhone 6 repairs and simple connecting the battery to the motherboard can not damage anything. Doesn’t matter what’s connected or not. The only way you could short something is when you connect the battery, turn it on by pressing the power button or connecting it to a charger cable, and then, when it’s power on, connecting the camera or the screen when the device is ‘hot’. The iPhone 6 motherboard is strong enough that connecting the screen, even when the device is on, wouldn’t cause damage if the screen isn’t lit. Iff it is, the backlight coils probably would burn, but as I said, never happend to me. And for all your DIY’s, DONT TRY THIS AT HOME, turn of the device and disconnect the battery before making repairs !! Just to make sure, as the 6S for example will surely burn out the backlight if you forget this So, as mentioned in the comments, connect it to iTunes, to make sure it’s not the screen that’s stays blank...
Meer informatieHi connect your iphone 5 to an iMac or MacBook and use the app called coconut battery so you can find out some info on your battery. Most likely is that your ‘new’ battery is faulty (there are many revived ones out there, sold as new) so please try a new battery before anything else. The IOS is smart, so it will turn off when it notices a power drain the battery can’t handle. This happens with your old battery too. Another cause could be the power management on the motherboard, but knowing your old battery pushed your screen out of its housing, I am pretty sure it’s not the cause Please let us know if a new good battery solved the issue
Meer informatieYes, it is likely that the Screen is damaged, so the ‘computer’ is on, but the screen is not showing an image. Since it has been repaired before there is a slight possibility that the connector of the screen came loose, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up, sorry. Mans don’t forget to test the new screen before assembly, so iff the new screen won’t work as well, you can return it. Good luck, Brenda
Meer informatieThe LCD (and its electronics) is quite fragile. Check with the new LCD, you probably damaged the old LCD (even a static discharge can damage it) but bending the flex could do the trick as well.
Meer informatieHi this is simply a sign that you need to replace the camera all together. Cleaning will not help with these spots. Be careful though. Follow the teardown iff you haven’t repaired an iphone 7 before !! Enjoy and good luck. Brenda
Meer informatieHi, Did you connect it to an PC with iTunes started. Iff the screen is the issue, iTunes will will let you know with a message that there is a device connected. Keep it charging for about half an hour to make sure that the battery wasn’t depleted as well. Nothing happens after half an hour? Try with another battery, make sure is has some juice in it, most new batteries have at least 40% in them. Iff the iPhone starts with another battery, you could have a faulty battery (most cases) or an issue with the power management (motherboard issue). Let us know what happend, please
Meer informatieHi a repair guy here. As the iphone 4S is pretty sturdy, touching the case with the battery connector should not damage the phone. And iff I understand your problem correctly it is pretty similar to not having the battery connected at all. Try to disconnect the battery and see what happens if you put the cable in. It will show the apple logo for a few seconds, than go black and restart. During an update or booting it there is a moment it needs battery power even with the usb cable connected to the phone. If if that’s the same as when you have your battery connected, you’ll need to exchange the battery. If that doesn’t work check the connector soldered to the motherboard. These are known for some wobbly soldering points. You might have damaged them when disconnecting the battery. Last at thing I can think of, is to test with an new dock connector flex, but that is not something that is usually related to error 21.

Because that's what you always do before any repair ! For example, you are sure that the device is turned off, and, that there is no current on any part of the device. Better for you and increasing the odds the repair/fix is going to work by a mile.
