I am a junior at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. I served 4 years in the US Army, and am currently serving in the US Army reserves. After I graduate I want to work in the field a s a geotechnical engineer. I am a student with a good work ethic, critical thinking and problem solving skills. In the future I would like how to fix a phone or anything that I use in daily life. This project will benefit me by teaching me how to use communication in a way that is very precise and technical. There is a lot of ways to communicate and it is very important to learn the different types of communication regardless of what your field is, communication is the key factor to a missions success. In my spare time I enjoy golfing, being outside and fishing.
This picture if from when I was leaving the Army, my platoon sergeant handed me a plaque with my name on it. This was one of the best mentors I have had in my career, and he has taught me a lot of the stuff I know now.
This picture is of one of my favorite hobbies to do. A long with golfing, I enjoy being outside. I grew up fishing with my dad, so fishing holds a big spot in my heart.
