I had the same problem. New pioneer deck, then new dash speakers. A few days later, new rear speakers in the back. Shortly after, all sound was dead but the radio looked like it was working from all inputs. Turns out the rear speaker wires were touching the metal of my car that surrounded the speakers. I rotated the speakers 180 in their holes and that kept the metal tabs of the speaker away from the car body and sound came back.
