your lcd is bad... streaks are usually a sign of dead or or damaged pixels... and if it is only showing part of the display, the rest of the screen is damaged and cannot display and therefore that blue streak is just damaged pixels that are fortunate to still display color...
Meer informatiewhen the shutter is closed its not reading the camera connection and thinks no camera is there... try detaching it and connecting it again and see what happens... if nothing... camera is bad or connection at camera is faulty...
Meer informatiei think there could be damage at the connector or logic board... is the phone really hot when this happens...? Overheating can mess with the display also but that signals a logic board issue... personally dont think its the lcd if the display is good at different times... usually pixelized, blinking out lcd hints a loose connection because if the lcd was bad you would not be getting a clear display at one time and bad display at another point in time, when a part is defective the problem is consistent... i say either connector or one of the ic's on the logic board... especially if there is heating... but dont get it twisted overheating can mean also the processor is working harder than usual... or the camera integration on the logic board is commonly known to cause some heating...
Meer informatieBattery issue usually consist of the phone dying quickly, and charging would either be faster than usual or weird in a sense you have not noticed before or you charge it for 2 hours or so and it dies in an hour.... but unless the phone is water damaged then the iphone does not come on if there is no battery honestly speaking so that rules out battery... now when you said you plugged it in and it booted then plugged it out and it shut off... do you have another iphone? perhaps you can charge the battery in that iphone and see what happens... i think its possible that the port is bad because if you get the same response from a good battery something is wrong at the connection because it turns off immediately after you take out the ac power that means the other power source is not supplying the phone AT ALL and it was strictly depending on the ac power... if you have an analog or digital multimeter you can test the connector to see how much voltage is coming out at the pins... this way you can know for...

Meer informatiei think the lcd screen is disconnected or defective or it could probably be a backlight issue needing a new 6r8 chip... but both parts are cheap just watch and read guides and tutorials about repair...
Meer informatieIphone 4/4s has two mics, one at the bottom and one at the top... the mic at the bottom is defected... the one at the top is responsible for sound intake for apps and the mic at the bottom is responsible for sound intake for calls... the mic at the bottom is located on the charger port/dock connector part and would require you replace the whole thing unfortunately but it doesnt require total dismantle of the phone which is a total relief...
Meer informatiebefore you go buying parts just like that trying analyzing things first because if you never done it before you could waste alot of money... usually when a iphone is on and charging it vibrates or if you turn the silent on and off... the phone vibrates. regardless, if this happens, its a display issue and the lcd could be disconnected or defective... now if you plug the iphone into a computer or ihome device and nothing happens within 15-30 mins, that could mean a number of things... logic board short circuited, power, or dock connector... or a software problem... you could take out the logic board and plug up the battery to it alone along with the dock connector and plug into a computer... this would allow you to see if its a power issue... if the computer reads the iphone, power issue is not the problem.. and the dock connector is ruled out... at that time, detach everything and reattach the lcd first then attach the battery then dock connector to the logic board and plug in a cable to the dock connector...
Meer informatieok nathan, just a suggestion... the power cable as you probably know is within the same flex cable as the proximity sensor... make a call and see if it turns off automatically when your face comes within distance of it... if it does not then the cable could be disconnected or you bought a defective cable.... if the proximity sensor works and responds as it should when you make calls, then it could be a problem with the contacts on the power button cable, software glitch or possibly a logic board problem(less likely)... inspect the area where the contact is carefully and make sure its up to par... but regardless if something if wrong at the contact area, theres not not much you could do about it and would require a replacement anyway... just my suggestions...hope it helps =)
