The process was really easy except that the MBP didn’t boot at the first shot. The keyboard ribbon was not inserted properly and in order to install it correctly I followed another advice on ifixit: I helped my self with a piece of adhesive tape with which I applied quite some horizontal force on the ribbon/socket couple. At the end everything went super smoothly. It took me about 40’ total and I have gained more that 10*C on idle. The machine feels brand new, it runs cold and it is super snappy again. Almost at its 10th birthday!!
