I have had the same problem! The Dash, old technology from the getgo. The cell phone used has a removable battery. How many years ago did they do away with those phones? Tech support just read off screens. I also talked to managers. Because of it being a medical device, they state, only the battery that came with the unit can be used. That battery is no longer made. Even the cellular company that those phones came from have no spare batteries. Yes I contacted them as well. Only option I found, go on line to a third party selling the New OmniPod 5. My insurance said the new one wasn't covered yet. The only way those third party places get paid is if they can get you pushed through. I found one that got me one! Remember the New one operates off a Loop system with the Dexcom 6, which doesn't come with it. You can set it up manually.
