It’s fixed! I popped the plastic cap off the volume slider on a whim and found that there was some vinegar lodged in there. I rinsed it out with some 99% isopropyl alcohol and bam, fixed. I guess I wasn’t as careful as I thought I was when I soaked the charging port. Oh well, problem solved!
