1) sounds like either a problem with the logic board or a problem with your power connections 2) water damage for 2 seconds can cause minor damage 3) You may want to wait a week or month to see if it works, but if you want it fixed ASAP, open it up and take a look. Follow this tutorial, iPod Nano 4th Generation Logic Board Assembly Replacement When you have it all opened, play around (not majorly) with the power connector and make sure it is connected properly. If it still does not work after putting it back together, it may be your iPod's logic board. I would wait to see if it fixes itself, or else you'll have to live with the damage. Best of luck!
Meer informatieI would contact iFixit and see if you can send that screen back and they can replace with you another one. If they cannot, you should check the connectors. If they all look connected fine, it is probably a LCD problem, so you will need to purchase another. Best thing to do would be checking the connectors and making sure they are connected correctly and in the right spots. Lose connections may be causing these lines. Best of luck!
Meer informatieFollow the tutorial you listed backwards, you will see where each screw goes. Oh nevermind now I see what you mean, you got them mixed up? Ok, well best thing to do would be measuring and lining up the screws. If you look on the tutorial you will find some screws are bigger and smaller, if you see the sizes (ex 2.5mm or 1.6mm) you could try measuring them. Also, in the tutorial you will see some heads are different than others and you will be able to tell which goes where by looking at that. Best of luck, I really do not know how to explain or show you where which screen goes separately. Try finding out positively where each screw goes, and MAKE SURE, or else you could damage the motherboard or front LCD if you put a 2.5mm screw where a 1.4mm screw is supposed to go. Good luck.
Meer informatieThe home button is part of the front panel assembly. You can get the front panel assembly apart from the rest of the iPhone by following this tutorial: iPhone 3G Front Panel Assembly Replacement After you have done that try playing with the connectors around the home button, and purchase a iPhone 3G home button from another site if you believe it needs replacing. Best of luck!
Meer informatieIf it doesn't start up and stays on the apple/snowflake logo its probably something wrong with your logic board, which is a big problem. You can replace it for expensive, or find out another way to fix it (no idea). Sorry I couldn't really help!
Meer informatieThe LCD has the lights behind it, but need a chip which is located in the logic board to run these lights. If the chip is fried, you will need to replace it, or else it may be just the LCD backlights which are wrecked. If the backlights are VERY faint, you will need to either replace the LCD screen or a part on the motherboard (logic board) which is called the backlight IC. (I believe iPod 2nd generations had these?) Cheapest thing to do would be replacing the backlight IC on the logic board, but this is not always the problem and is very hard to do (requires soldering) Easiest (fairly easy) thing to do would be replacing the LCD, but this is also a more expensive way of TRYING to fix it.
Meer informatieBest thing to do would be replacing the LCD screen. Sounds like your LCD is pooched. (wrecked)
Meer informatieI would suggest taking the iPod apart. Visit the Repair section on this site to find out how to take your iPod apart. Then try opening the covers over the power button on your iPod. This will release all tension and may pop the power button out.
Meer informatieIf the battery shortens out you will need to purchase a new one. These battery's also can take NO water damage at all. They suck it all up and then swell up to the size of Chigaco! Best thing to do would be clean the parts also while replacing battery. First thing to do is try new battery and see how it works out. If the iPhone still doesn't turn on, probably the logic board (motherboard) that is fried and you will either need to purchase one (very expensive) or try soaking it and getting rid of corrosion. If headphones don't play music, you will need a new headphone jack. Also, if the charger still does not work you may need to replace dock in the iPhone and try a friends iPod/iPhone USB charger. Best of luck!
Meer informatieThere may be a problem with your charger. Even thought the light is on, it may not be going through the wire into your device. I would try a new charger, or else, check the end of the charger with a powerful multimeter (warning: very high voltages when dealing with this) and if it shows a voltage, the charger should be fine. If you get to this part, you will have to repair your charger port. If if still isn't working, it may be your battery in your device and/or the board of the device. (may have got fried during charging)
