The switch comes attached to the new unit. Leave it attached and connect the wires to it

Remember to feed your cord through the cut-out in the back panel before reattaching the power cord to the board.

You can see I marked the inside harness with a black sharpie. I made a note that the marked harness went in the inside socket.

I also was mystified as to why I could not remove the home button after successfully removing the cable. Then I remembered that I had suggestion at step 4 and covered shattered screen with clear tape! Once tape was removed, button came out! LOL!
