Excellent guide. Very concise. The opening tool was 100% worth the money just for steps 21-24.

This part is extremely delicate! I Snapped small chips off the top of my unit 3 times. Thankfully I’m only stripping it to put it in a brand new case. I suggest running an opening pick along the edge. They’re so thin and plastic they work quite well here.

The flat end of the Halberd Spudger is good for this.
