Help

My name is Julian Rodriguez, and I am a student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I am currently studying Engineering Physics as it most closely aligns with my dream of becoming an astronaut. I wish to become the first man on Mars, assisting in humanity’s adventure into the great unknown. I am currently skilled in the use of 2-D and 3-D modeling programs, the use of manufacturing machinery, and welding equipment. Using this knowledge, a team of my friends and I built robots for the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) every year during high school, slowing improving our designs as we continued participating. This allowed us to finally reach the World Championship for FRC, and this is where most of my repair experience comes from. As your robot experiences more and more wear and tear, things are bound to break, so fixing them in the short time period before the next match was imperative. Our FRC team has won multiple Regional awards and we are currently aiming to get into the finals at the FRC World Championship. I am not currently in any clubs but I was in marching band and the robotics club in high school. I am a video game fanatic so on my free time I am either playing games or, if access is available, practicing welding. This project will allow me to get more familiar with the inner workings of a car, something I have not had too much experience with. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and I am currently working on studying other languages as well.
