No this will not work as the battery connection into the circuit/logic board is different between these two models, so it physically will not fit. It would have been nice though.

Hi there, I think the audio cable you are referring to is the volume/mute ribbon cable, which has nothing to do with the main speaker not working. The main speaker is connected to the charging port which in turn is then connected to the logic board, so the issue you have would need one of these replaced. On a side note some cases the phone could be stuck in 'headphone mode', which is where the device thinks that headphones are plugged in even though there are none present. Which again can be fixed with a charging port replacement because by chance the headphone jack and charging port share the same ribbon cable. Hope this all helps!

Hi there, I have also encountered this issue, very fustrating. Only solution is to either send the screen back or use an alternate home button, seeing as the repair is a 5S I wouldn't recommend the latter due to Touch ID complications.

Repairs are usually the case of the process of elimination mind set. In your case if it is not the home button ribbon cable then it is most likely the charging port, which is where the home button connects into. The only real exception is if water has come into contact with the phone then that phone becomes very unpredictable. Hope this helps!

Problem you are facing is the digitizer connection from the screen into the logic board. Fixing this issue will require the removal of the screen by either a repair shop or yourself (with caution). The connection may have come loose or doesn't have a solid connection so removing and re-attaching may fix the issue but in my experience you will most likely have to replace the entire screen.
