Guys. Here is the deal. I have been opening macbooks and macbook pros for at least 7 years now. All you need pretty much (99.9 of the time) is 3 screw drivers to open the back case also called and known as the lower case. Then you need a special screw driver (the 4th one) in case you may need to replace your macbook battery one day. Forget about anyone telling you anything else….just buy these 4 screw drivers and you will be fine. Also when trying them out you gotta have a magnifier with you if you don’t have good eyes and be able to distinguish between a torx screw (in the shape of a star), a phillips screw (in the shape of a cross), and a tri point screw (in the shape of a ….oh well…you know there are just 3 sides).
