Mijn probleem
iPhone5 battery was getting to the point where it could only record 15 minutes of video or last 8 hours from 100% to 12% charge with no use. I've also experienced the auto-shutoff while running GPS tracking software when mountain biking.
Mijn oplossing
The repair went pretty well. After removing the two tiny bottom screws, it took about 10 minutes to lift the screen up with the suction cup, enough to get the pry tool in to start un-clamp around the edges. My phone seemed to favor opening up more on the bottom left corner when I initially was trying to get the pry tool in the bottom right so check which corner is coming apart more easily. Next I didn't have to remove the screen connector, only the battery bracket and as everyone says, do not lift the screen pass 90 degree angle. Then prying up the battery I started from the top and worked my way down. You can hear the glue tear and found it bests to just do a little tearing at a time until eventually the battery can be lifted sideways with fingers from both top and bottom ends. I had a pull tab but didn't need to use it. Snapping on the battery connector was a little tricky because of the way the cable is angled or the size of my finger but you should hear a snap when it goes in.
Mijn advies
Screwing in the battery bracket was tricky with the provided driver. I had to use a angled non-magnetic tweezers to place the screws. Also when closing up the case start from the top and make sure it's completely closed down then close the bottom. My first attempt the top left corner was not fully in. I started from the bottom and when pushing the top in, it wouldn't fully close no matter what so had to re-pry the case open.
