Battery replacement is easier than lego

Mijn probleem

iPhone 4s is a great machine. One of the best so far. After 3 years of usage the original battery was still holding about 6-7 hours with Wi-Fi and 3-4 with 3g. That's very impressive but not enough. After checking here and there, I decided to go with iFixit replacement. I admit, I am a technical guy, but heard too many spook stories about iDevice handling.

The battery came. Opened the manual. Read it twice.

Boom! After 15 minutes the work was over.

Been using it for few weeks now and hey, it's not the original, but it sure does the job. Even with 3G and heavy usage, I can get 12-13 hours of work and remain with 10% battery. iFixit - you just got yourself another happy client.

Mijn advies

1) Use disposable gloves, you don't want to leave hand grease inside.

2) Close the window and get your cat\dog\squirrel out of the way

3) Have a good lamp pointing to your working area.

4) Do everything on a white towel (kinda anti-static environment and you can see better on white)

5)Put all the screws in one place

6)RTFM !!
