Shattered glass on iPhone

My husband took a fall..thank goodness he's okay - he fell with his phone in his hand and when he went down, he landed on his phone. The front of his iPhone was shattered, although it still worked just fine..lol

The repair was done by a friend of ours and it took him about an hour. It went pretty easily for him I think.

Mijn advies

When I ordered the the Display Assembly, I didn't realize that it was for a BLACK iPhone. My husband has the WHITE version of the 4S. So..I don't know how I missed that. We're hoping that whoever we sell this phone to in the Fall in order to get an upgraded iPhone 6, that it will not devalue his phone because now his white phone as a black front display. I think if you could define that you have a choice on the page where you order it, that would be great. I may have overlooked it, although I didn't see it..or at least don't think I see that there were choices. I also didn't realize that the front display wasn't JUST the glass part and that the entire front cover had to be replaced. IF I'd known that, I would have understood what I needed to order. SO...I'd say..a bit more CLARITY on the web page regarding this information for those of us who are not informed what a replacement of a Display Assembly is. Thanks.
