The LCD was having blooming issues - it would freeze up and bloom at the worst possible times.
Mijn oplossing
Beautifully - save for the hinges being out of alignment on the new LCD, making it impossible to install at first. I would add a step to the repair guide to account for that. After I fixed that problem, the display was as good as new.
Mijn advies
The hinges on my new display were out of alignment, so I could not get it installed at first. That changed when I gave the hinges a good twist to align them. Don't forget this.
If your new display shows weird colors that aren't corrected by calibration, it's likely from a bad connection. Open the computer up again and re-do the display connection and it should clear up.
