The original issue was that my battery would die in about 3 hours tops.

Mijn oplossing

When I first changed the batteries out, the grounding clip came out and I replaced it the way I thought it went which was on TOP of the battery terminal. Put it back together, Turned the phone on and noticed that the battery percent was steadily dropping.... Like I could se it go from 66%...65%....64% almost instantly.. I imediately thought I got a defective battery but I Figured I should let it run through a few charges before I called and sent it back.

The whole weekend was te same thing so I did a little research about battery replacements and turned out that the grounding clip has a lot to do with battery life and reception..... Looked up some close up pictures and realized that I had replaced in the wrong position, it goes on the BOTTOM of the battery plug.

Took the phone apart again, replaced the clip in the correct positions and now my reception is way better and the battery seems to be doing better as well.

Mijn advies

although I'm still not seeing very dramatic changes in battery life. It does last a little longer but not much more than the 2.5 year old battery it replaced. Again. I'll probably keep it because I dont want to pay the restocking fees and such. But it is better than the old one. Just make sure the clip goes on the correct position, I know there are videos out there but I think a little schematic available for download would help as well.
