Mijn probleem
Over a few weeks noticed my phone started shutting down at odd remaining times... 20%... 30%.. 40%. Then about a week prior to grabbing the part it started rapidly losing charge (from 100% to 80%) after only about 20 minutese of use. Battery replacement time!
Mijn oplossing
I previously picked up a tool kit from iFixIt so opening up the phone was easy cheesy. I'll admit I was lazy and skipped removing the screen -- just kept it at 80 degree angle. Note this was dangerous and I risked breaking/tearing those cables, but I was feeling dangerous.
There was SIGNIFICANT glue under the original battery... I was patient here and followed the guide, gently prying at those three points in rotation slowly until there was enough give. I pulled at one point and felt the logic board bend... no good!
The battery part was labeled APN 610-613. The original part was 610-610. So far holds about 6 hours of active use charge. I found batteries through shady online vendors for cheaper ($10-$12), but the 6 month warranty and confidence in the vendor kept me buying it here.
Mijn advies
Expect a lot of resistance on the original battery. It's glued there for a reason! Take your time with that. Otherwise, have a great day!
