My battery was dying so fast, You could literally watch it drop..sometimes when it would get to 30% it would shut down completely, then when I would plug in, it would come back on and still say 30%. Or it would drop to 20%, 10% then 1% In a matter of minutes..but stay on 1% for hours. But it rarely lasted more than 3 hours either way! As of now, the new battery lasts just about 24 hours, my Bluetooth and wi-fi stay on and about 8-10 of those hrs I'm streaming music! Yay for ifixit! You guys rock!

The repair went so smoothly, I'm still wondering why it took me soooo long to try it!

I opted not to remove the front screen all the way, I didn't want to take it apart any more than I had to..just didn't open it more than 90 degrees. It probably would have gone a little smoother if I had removed it. Just be VERY careful when prying the old battery out..I almost broke the "plug" on the phone where the battery plugs in, because the old one was stuck so well...maybe starting at 100% and run your battery all the way down, hopefully it will heat that glue up just enough to make it pliable. Have a magnet ready when you remove the screws, they are TINY!
